Deputy Dodson was sworn in today and will begin working the streets this week. Dodson came to us after a long and successful career with the Navasota Police Department. We are happy to have him on board! Combined they leave with almost 60 years of experience. Sheriff Chris Kirk presided over their retirement ceremony that was attended by friends, family, and members from multiple law enforcement agencies who gathered to wish She then became the agencies Recruiter where she spent 6 years hiring and mentoring many of our staff.
They were two of the hardest working employees and truly loved serving our community. We will miss their presence around the agency and we wish them all the best in the future. Brian began to train and expand on his role by taking many investigative classes, which included Forensic Photography, Foundation His new assignment will be supervising our security team at the Brazos County Courthouse. We are committed to the safety and security of our community and we know Sergeant Contreras will fill his new role to the highest standard.
Boone came to us from Collin County Sheriffs Office. From the moment he arrived, Boone has been a strong leader for our agency.
Sergeant Boone is assigned to the Jail Security division and we are confident he will do a great job at keeping our community safe.
